Pathway Agreement

Maricopa Community College District
Exercise and Wellness (Fitness and Wellness Specialist), BS Pathway
2016-2017
Pathway Notes
2.0 GPA in coursework used to satisfy MAPP requirements. All courses must be completed with a grade of C or greater.
Special Requirements

Completion of the MAPP and all special requirements satisfies the requirements for MCCCD Associate in Arts degree and AGEC-A, meets major map requirements at ASU, and guarantees admission to the Exercise and Wellness (Fitness and Wellness Specialist) B.S. degree program.

As of fall 2017, the concentration listed in this pathway will be disestablished and only a general BS in Exercise and Wellness will remain.  The new degree will have three track options including Sports Performance, Corporate Fitness/Wellness or Clinical Populations Specialist. These tracks will include upper division courses that students may choose from after transfer to ASU.  You may sign up for this pathway knowing that the lower division coursework you take at the community college will be accepted toward the degree at ASU although the degree name will change to Exercise Wellness with the selection of a track within the degree.
