Kellie Rolstad is now Associate Professor of Education in the College of Education at the University of Maryland-College Park. She is no longer affiliated with ASU.
Her research interests include the language of schooling, language diversity, digital and unschooled learning and literacy, and radical unschooling. Her work has appeared in the Bilingual Research Journal, Bilingual Review, Teachers College Record, Hispanic Journal of Behavioral Sciences, Educational Policy, and in Paulston and Tucker’s Sociolinguistics: The Essential Readings (Blackwell, 2003). Professor Rolstad holds degrees in Linguistics, and Applied Linguistics from UCLA, where she also earned her PhD in Education. Professor Rolstad has served as a visiting scholar at Harvard and UCLA.
