Jeffrey Chapman was an Emeritus Professor in the School of Public Affairs. He joined Arizona State University in 1999 as professor and director of the School of Public Affairs. Previously, he served in faculty positions with the University of Southern California and University of California, Los Angeles. He passed away in 2022.
Chapman has written extensively in the area of state and local public finance.
Chapman holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Occidental College and master's and doctoral degrees in economics from University of California, Berkeley.
