Adam Henry, Ed.D., is a strategic leader in international higher education, with extensive expertise in enrollment management, student success services, global education, university teaching, and international student programming. Dr. Henry excels at guiding teams and cultivating impactful global partnerships through relationship-building and collaborative visioning.
Dr. Henry currently serves as the Director of Outreach and Student Recruitment for the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering (FSE) at Arizona State University (ASU), a role he assumed in 2024 after joining FSE in 2022 as Associate Director. In this capacity, he leads initiatives to engage and recruit future engineers, expanding access and supporting student pathways into one of the nation’s largest and most innovative engineering schools.
Prior to his work at FSE, Dr. Henry was the Executive Director of Student Success at ASU's Thunderbird School of Global Management (2019–2022), where he oversaw initiatives to enhance the student experience across academic and co-curricular domains. His previous roles include Director of the ASU Global Education Office, where he led the university’s study abroad strategy, and Assistant Director at Global Launch, ASU’s academic preparation and language learning unit. Before joining ASU, Dr. Henry directed an international advocacy and service-learning program for an international non-governmental organization for 10 years.
Dr. Henry brings a deeply global perspective to his work, having lived, studied, and worked in Chengdu, China, for three years and traveled extensively in over 30 countries. His academic and professional journey reflects a commitment to expanding educational access, fostering intercultural understanding, and advancing global learning initiatives across disciplines.
