Manisha Master is the undergraduate academic advising manager for the School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies (SHPRS). She leads the SHPRS advising team and provides academic advising to students in all SHPRS majors, minors, and certificate programs, including both on-campus and online students. She has had an interest in advising since she was an undergraduate student at ASU, and really enjoys the opportunity to work with students throughout their university experience.
Prior to joining the School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies, Manisha worked as an evaluator in Admission Services for seven years. She then became an academic advisor in the Office of Student and Academic Programs in The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, where she worked with online students pursuing the Bachelor of Liberal Studies degree. Manisha joined the history department in 2008, which soon became the School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies. The formation of the School allowed Manisha to work with a greater variety of students, faculty, and academic programs.
Manisha is an active member of ASU's Council of Academic Advisors (CAA). She served as CAA Tempe campus Secretary in 2013-14 and as General Studies Representative from 2017-2020.
