Long Bio
Sharon Jae Hall is an Associate Dean in the College of Global Futures, where she leads strategy and academic program development to empower learners, educators, and scientists to address critical issues related to the health and habitability of the planet. Sharon is also a President’s Professor of Conservation Biology and Ecology in the School of Life Sciences, where her research focuses on ecosystem resilience and complex interactions between people and nature near protected areas. She is co-PI on an NSF ADVANCE institutional transformation award to improve processes in faculty advancement and success, and she recently served as Special Advisor for Inclusive Excellence in the School of Life Sciences.
