Dr. Lujan is of the Diné Nation from Arizona and received her Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of New Mexico.  She is a founding member of the American Indian Studies Program. Her course history includes AIS 494 ST: American Indians in Cinema, Arts, and Media, and AIS 380 Contemporary Issues of American Indian Nations.
