Today's employment landscape is evolving into one that values expertise in an increasing number of specialized fields. Gain invaluable skills in a number of distinct areas that interest you while pursuing a fulfilling life and career you are passionate about.
In the Bachelor of Arts program in interdisciplinary arts and sciences, students build a flexible, customized degree that is specific to their specific career goals.
Students tailor their programs to emphasize interdisciplinary study combined with a specific area of concentration (e.g., business, communication studies, English, gerontology, history, psychology, preprofessional studies). For example, a business degree with an emphasis in arts and performance can lead to employment opportunities that aren't as easily accessed with a traditional business degree alone. By providing the opportunity to combine disciplines, New College equips students with the specialized education they need to reach their individual career goals.
This degree program culminates in a capstone experience that provides practical perspective, skills and connections, creating versatile graduates who are ready for graduate school or the corporate world.
