The Bachelor of Arts program in social and cultural analysis with a concentration in ethnicity, race and Indigenous studies combines transdisciplinary topics and methods for critical analysis of relationships among individuals, groups, institutions, governments, economies and environments.
The program enriches the study of individual racialized and Indigenous groups by drawing on theories, methods and pedagogies in ethnicity, race and Indigenous studies while engaging complementary fields of literature, history, sociology, oral history, sexuality, queer studies, social justice, and transnational and cultural studies. Coursework grounds students in a deep understanding of the particular historical, social, economic, cultural and political experiences of individual racialized groups as well as in an analysis of the relationships among them.

3 year programs
These programs allow students to fast-track their studies after admission and earn a bachelor's degree in three years or fewer while participating in the same high-quality educational experience of a 4-year option. Students should talk to their academic advisor to get started.
Accelerated master's
These programs allow students to accelerate their studies to earn a bachelor's plus a master's degree in as few as five years (for some programs).
