Looking to become a team leader? Build on your associate degree to take on more responsibility in your career field. You'll learn to manage people and resources, communicate well, and solve challenges.
In the Bachelor of Applied Science program with a concentration in applied leadership, students focus on the practice of innovative and effective management. They develop the skills and knowledge leaders need to solve problems, communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, assess program effectiveness and manage resources. The program serves as a valuable pathway for students with Associate of Applied Science degrees in fields such as environmental technology and machine shop technology.
This program may be eligible for an Optional Practical Training extension for up to 24 months. This OPT work authorization period may help international students gain skills and experience in the U.S. Those interested in an OPT extension should review ASU degrees that qualify for the STEM-OPT extension at ASU's International Students and Scholars Center website.
The OPT extension only applies to students on an F-1 visa and does not apply to students completing a degree through ASU Online.
