Applied Science, BAS, approved for STEM-OPT extension, online
Graduates of the Bachelor of Applied Science program with a concentration in operations management are able to provide strategic focus and meet organizational objectives by implementing best practices, managing people and creating value.
Students who have an applicable Associate of Applied Science from an accredited institution may transfer 60 credit hours toward a bachelor's degree at ASU, and students who have earned an AAS degree from a regionally accredited Arizona community college may be eligible to transfer up to 75 credits toward this program. Following transfer to ASU in pursuit of this BAS degree, students may have more than 60 credit hours to complete. Students should work with their academic advisor to ensure that their courses will meet degree requirements.
This program may be eligible for an Optional Practical Training extension for up to 24 months. This OPT work authorization period may help international students gain skills and experience in the U.S. Those interested in an OPT extension should review ASU degrees that qualify for the STEM-OPT extension at ASU's International Students and Scholars Center website.
The OPT extension only applies to students on an F-1 visa and does not apply to students completing a degree through ASU Online.
