This degree program is intended for students who are already fairly competent in the language selected to study. The language selected by the student must be one offered by the School of International Letters and Cultures. Please see an academic advisor in SILC for approval of the language as well as the program of study which is tailored for individual students. Because of the nature of the degree program, students taking Romanian and Portuguese should be at least at the 313 level by the end of Term 1, and students taking Greek should be at least at the 301 level by the end of Term 1. Students in all other languages should be at the 201 level by the end of Term 1.
