Special Requirements

Completion of the MAPP and all special requirements satisfies the requirements for MCCCD Associate in Arts degree and AGEC-A, meets major map requirements at ASU, and guarantees admission to the Conflict Resolution B.A. degree program.

ASU will accept transfer credit for traditional course work you have successfully completed at regionally accredited institutions of higher education. The applicability of the specific course toward a degree depends on the requirements of the department, division, college or school in which you are enrolled at ASU. Within these elective credits, the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences? Languages and Cultures Requirement may be fulfilled by completing one of the following options before transferring to ASU: Non-English language course at the intermediate level (202 or equivalent), including American Sign Language IV OR two (2) semesters of a current computer language (CSC110 and [CSC200 or CSC205]). Alternatively, students can meet ASU's Languages and Cultures Requirement after transferring by completing an additional 6 credits of upper-division Global or Cultural courses once at ASU.
